Let’s talk about Juneteenth, an important holiday taking place in two weeks.

“Juneteenth is a celebration of what we understand as freedom and the recognition of a delayed promise in this country that for so long has issued this idea of what equity and justice looks like for everyone, but yet it is so delayed for so many.”

“Juneteenth is an understanding of how we can stand up and show up for a correct storytelling for our history, it is about making sure that we pull up even today for a lot of the issues that are going on in the racial justice space.”
