We worked with the New York food bank to donate Clif bars that would help aid the 1.5 million New Yorkers that rely on food pantries. This opportunity allowed me to pause and gain a better perspective of my place not only in my home city, but the world. This moment ignited a fire in me to take further action and to continue to contribute in ways I hope will better the lives of people from all backgrounds. I have spent time learning more, and sharing what I can by volunteering at different organizations like @northbrooklynangels @youngwomenwhocrush and starting @allriseoutdoors as an effort to tackle barriers to entry into outdoor activities. Clif bar, thank you for fueling me to not only to reach “new heights” in climbing but also in becoming a more active participant in my community.
