It’s also a big day for me personally, because I just launched my production company, Forever Free Productions, and released the first look for our first film, Black Beauty. And here’s a bit more about what I do: 🎥📣 I was inspired to start Forever Free Productions to amplify voices that are completely shut out. Voices that have the potential to influence the world’s idea of what it means to be human, but are not given the chance to. 🏳️‍⚧️✊🏾 In 2015, I founded the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, where we work to create a crucial entry point for Black transgender women to advocate for an end to violence against all trans people through advocacy, transformative organizing, restoration, civil disobedience, and direct action 🎶❤️ When I’m not working, I moonlight as a singer and actress, and love spending time with my friends and family and my dog, Harper!
