Mystery, bewitching darkness and the complexities of femininity are evoked for #DiorAW21 by @MariaGraziaChiuri, unveiled in the form of a film, 'Disturbing Beauty', set at @ChateauVersailles. The historic Galerie des Glaces was lined with an installation by artist @SilviaGiambrone, featuring opaque mirrors sprouting fearsome thorns, the backdrop to a collection focused on an interplay of concealing and revealing. Here, a sheer chiffon pleated dress peeks out from a textured velvet coat, and a 1950s symbolic rose print - by Andrée Brossin de Méré, Monsieur Dior's innovative textile designer - is reborn as a defined-waist dress for a woman with enigmatic allure.
