It’s night, and something is stirring at the @ChateauVersailles. Twitching masses of bodies and a primal, gasping figure seem to emerge from the earth at this the witching hour. A portentous pall descends upon the palace, a psychological setting in motion of the #DiorAW21 collection by @MariaGraziaChiuri. Dark and sinister stories are evoked, the protofeminist fairy tales written by women in France at the time this historic edifice was built, fables with troubling morals. The choreographer @SharonEyalDance and her company enter into unsettling interactions with an installation of perilous sculptures by artist @SilviaGiambrone as the looks passing by segue into spectacular gowns. Then, suddenly, the clock strikes midnight, and this fitful dream evaporates into the ether.
