Inspiration this season includes:

1. ‘Woman in Blue’ a portrait of an unknown woman, executed in the late 1770s by the English artist #ThomasGainsborough - now hung in the Hermitage Museum in #SaintPetersburg

2. ‘Idols’ A book by Gilles Larrain
Portraits of 1970s' New Yorker #style and #attitude. Idols began when #GillesLarrain visited Kansas City in the explosively liberating early years of the gay rights movement and met and photographed #TaylorMeade and #JohnNoble. Once they had been photographed, the rest of the troupe followed suit. ‘Idols’ is a collection of portraits of a generation of #NewYork's most talented, outrageous, glamorous (read #gay) personalities who posed for Larrain in his legendary SoHo studio.

4. Polaroids by #AndyWarhol - Carrying a Polaroid camera from the late 1950s until his death in 1987, Warhol amassed a huge collection of pictures of friends, lovers, patrons, the famous, the obscure, the scenic, the fashionable, and HIMSELF.
