Hometown Series — Day 26 of 32: Boston by @philipckeith_. Commissioned by Apple. “In the spring of 2020, amidst the BLM protests, I read an article that stated how female protesters often lead to more effective mass movements. In Boston it’s no different. The majority of community leaders in the activism space are women of color, and I really wanted to highlight that. The image of hands are all people who play an important role in uplifting and building the community here.
