The amount of racist comments I have received on this platform since this pandemic began has been alarming. With my name being China, I’ve been an easy target.
Sadly it is merely a minute reflection of the rampart verbal and physical attacks that have become quite prevalent in AAPI communities.
Our elders, whom we hold sacred, have been specifically targeted.

I am thankful that main stream media is finally covering some of the horrific AAPI hate crimes that have been going on, but awareness is not enough.
Like all communities, we need allies.
I would like to call upon you, yes you who are reading this, to stand in solidarity with the AAPI community in condemning racism against us.
