As in so many other areas, Covid-19 has exposed and exacerbated existing inequality. Home schooling widens the attainment gap between rich & poor. Lack of technology, parental time & access to private tuition are all factors, and working mothers have been affected disproportionately. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER & a whole generation of children have been disadvantaged, possibly for life. We need to recognise that there is no equality in home-schooling, for children and parents alike.
