The @Miu Miu Women’s Tales program invites some of the world’s most original female directors to create a film investigating femininity in the 21st century, and today they unveil their latest commission. Directed and edited by @IsabelvSandoval, who also stars as the protagonist opposite Matthew Fifer, ‘Shangri-La’ explores the idea of paradise on earth, a Utopia away from prejudice, and features costumes by @Miu Miu. ‘I was stunned, honored and privileged to be invited to direct the next @Miu Miu Women’s Tales,’ @IsabelvSandoval explained. ‘I regard costumes as an expression of the lead character’s potential as a woman where she envisions herself as a warrior, princess or goddess.’ Swipe left for a preview and head to the @Miu Miu website to watch the full feature
