#Repost @_williambaker I can’t believe it’s 10 years since I directed this show. Think it is for sure one of the highlights of my career and one of the pieces of work that I’m definitely most proud of. I love everything about this show and the process behind making it and putting it together and designing the sets and props etc was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I was inspired by the old Follies movies of the 30s /40s , MGM folies and Busby Berkeley amongst other things . I love the album the show was based on one and the character of Aphrodite was perfect for K. I loved working with @nick_fireplay and @joshzangen on the design. Dream team. And loved the choreography and input of the gentleman that is @tonytestaofficial ❤️❤️. Most of all it was of course @カイリー・ミノーグ who breathed life into it all and gave her best ( in shoes she could barely walk in .... something I still don’t think she has forgiven me for!!). She really is incredible in this... also the dancers most of whom I met and had worked with doing the costumes for @ブリトニー・スピアーズ Circus tour were such a gorgeous talented bunch. Everyone really bought their all to this and I’m forever gratefully everyone involved and to Miss K for the opportunity.
