It has been a slow arduous process evolving at a snails pace over the last 5 or so years. For a long time I had fear about how making clothing and other products would be viewed if I was trying to have my art taken seriously, this lead to me making a solid effort to keep my involvement with the brand relatively ambiguous, never explicitly explaining my ownership. I’m sure it was pretty obvious, but this was my way like many things I do to compartmentalize it in my own head. We have continued to release items consistently slowly building a small team that I am excited and proud to work with daily. A couple years ago while visiting Japan @poggytheman introduced me to @sin_takizawa , I have long been a fan of Shin and @neighborhood_official and hoped to one day be able to work together on a project. That hope turned into a reality when in May of last year Shin reached out about doing a collection together. Having visited Shin’s space in Tokyo and getting to know him and his eye for quality and aspects of history that I hold near and dear, I was elated and honored at the opportunity. It allowed me to start looking at @oneofthesedaysco in a new light and see what was possible with the brand. My hope is that it will serve as a platform to continue to make higher quality garments, but also a jumping off point to work with new people and mediums. On February 27th we will be releasing “High, Low and In Between” available through @oneofthesedaysco and @neighborhood_official The release of this collection will also serve as a relaunching of the brand with more exciting announcements coming soon.」2月22日 14時55分
