Oliver Heilmer’s history with cars began well before he started designing them for a living. “Ever since I can remember, cars have totally fascinated me,” says Heilmer, “I’ve always drawn cars – and always had a big smile on my face at the same time." In 2017 Oliver joined @mini as the brand’s head of design and has been working to reinterpret MINI’s heritage for future generations through projects like the MINI Vision Urbanaut, featured recently on Design Milk.
