手のひらに大事なものだけを
ぎゅっと握りしめて

ここ最近、自分にとって本当に必要なものとそうでないものについて、深く考えた人は多かったのではないでしょうか？　服選びも誰かのためにというよりは、自分が着たいから、着心地がいいからといった、よりパーソナルな視点に変わったように思います。そこで前回に続いて今回も大事なものだけを握りしめるような感覚で、宝物のようなコレクションを14型作りました。どれも厳選した材料から一滴の濃厚スープをとるように、一点ずつ気持ちを込めた服ばかり。今日はその舞台裏を＜AK＋1＞のディレクターである私と、一緒にものづくりする愛すべきBEAMS チームとのトーク形式でご紹介したいと思います。

“Just hold on to what’s really important to you”

Recently, I bet there are so many of you that have thought about what’s really important to you and what’s not. When it comes to choosing clothes, it became more personal and we’ve started to pick up something we actually want to wear, that is more comfortable rather than what people expect us to wear. So as a continuation from the last season, we’ve made 14 precious new designs inspired by this feeling of only holding on to something that means so much to you. I put a lot of thought into each piece, made from carefully chosen materials like squeezing a rich essence. Today, I’d like to show you some of the behind-the-scenes of how my brand, “AK＋1” created this collection with my beloved BEAMS team. - AKI
