Both Max and Tonkey have been with @trupanion since they were puppos. We know that you can never plan for these things, but any fur-owner can be faced with a tough financial decision when sudden and unforeseen conditions come up. Over the years, Trupanion has been with us through 2 separate entropion surgeries, getting a handle on her Shar Pei Fever, and allergy specialists. Although Max seems bulletproof in comparison, she had an accident years ago over a long weekend in the mountains, where an on-call emergency vet had to leave his baseball game to come in and stitch her up 🙏. (She jumped into a lake and some sharp rocks sliced a gaping hole in her neck.) Seeing your babies in pain is heartbreaking and sometimes traumatizing.
