I’ve loved Blondie since I was a kid, so it has been great to collaborate with them on some projects including this mural and the package for their “Pollinator” album. This mural is at Bleeker and Bowery downtown NYC, across from the former CBGB’s where Blondie got their start in the ‘70s. I did my first NYC solo art show at the CBGB’s gallery next door to the music venue in 1998, so it is cool that we have some shared history there. By the way, Jonathan Levine, an O.G. punk rocker himself, put that art show together back before he started his own gallery. Thanks Jonathan!
