My first #WCW of Black History Month goes out to none other than the Queen 👑 herself, Madam Vice President, Kamala Harris. Before Kamala, our world had never seen a female VP. Little girls had high hopes and big dreams, but never had someone to look up to and show them that it was possible - until now.

As a young girl, Kamala’s mother always used to tell her - you may be the first to do many things, but make sure you are not the last. Kamala’s name, which means “lotus” and is another name for the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, was chosen by her mother as it represents both her Indian roots and the empowerment of women 👊🏽 Throughout the past two decades, Kamala has continued to break down barriers and become the ‘first’ to achieve many things - and she is determined not to be the last. A loving wife, dedicated step-mom + auntie, loyal friend, total chef and now THE FIRST FEMALE VICE PRESIDENT - Kamala has literally done it all. and more. 

Kamala, thank you so much for giving the world hope and changing history forever.
