The lesson of arm balances is often about strength and self-confidence.
Remember, this isn’t a competition, and you are not being judged by how high you lift up. Instead, the journey into Bakasana, or Crane Pose, is about finding spiritual strength. This arm balance is a combination of strength and flexibility.
When I first started, I used to slide off my arms all the time. But each time I slid down or tumbled out, I got back up again just that little bit stronger. If you find yourself unable to lift up or you fall out almost immediately after entering Bakasana, pick yourself back up again and know that you’re getting stronger each time. Don’t give up.
