*BIG ANNOUNCEMENT*
Happy February Furriends! I'm making some necessary changes as our family is facing more challenges & juggling more than ever since Venus first went viral in 2012. I've been thinking about the best way to engage w/ Venus, Roo, Halo, Tater Tot, & Ginger's fans & create content w/o always feeling like I'm overwhelmed, feeling guilty for not having time to reply to comments, DMs, questions, etc on each of their accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, & YouTube. Free social media platforms (where most of their fans are) have been infiltrated by bots, trolls, algorithms which work against older accounts, & other things that have taken away the experience we loved when things were simpler.

We want, and want to give you, a fulfilling & enriching experience that cannot be done working against all I just mentioned so I've decided to give Patreon a try with a single tier of $2/mo. This will also lessen the need to put ads here freeing up countless hours spent working w/ brands which I've relied upon to generate funds for rescue. I've never done a Go Fund Me to ask for support for myself or my pets & hope to never have to. I've also kept my word to never saturate my accounts w/ paid ads although I easily could've to make more $. I've turned down all but 1 brand collab recently for lack of time since I have 2 of 5 pets w/ potentially serious medical conditions, teenagers struggling w/ adapting to new schools w/ pandemic precaution mandates & ever changing teaching/learning methods, 2 elderly family members w/ terminal or life threatening illnesses, & more. I'm also eager to jump back into rescue which is so important to me. As our pets age & face health concerns (2 of which I'll be posting about later or tomorrow re: Ginger & Venus), I need to scale back to avoid burning out.

This isn't goodbye. I realize not everyone is in the position to subscribe even at just $2 so I'm going to do the best I can to keep every platform & account updated but Patreon will now be our main 1-stop hub for all our furkids.
I have big plans for rescue when things settle which I touch on in the tier description. 🐾
