ダンスとG-SHOCKによるプロジェクト「G-MOVEMENT」

第22回目のゲストは、伝説のダンスチーム【ELECTRIC BOOGALOOS】からPOPIN PETEが登場。アメリカの伝説の番組SOUL TRAINにてパフォーマンスを披露し世界にPOPという踊りを広めたダンス界の神様的存在。Michael Jacksonに直接ダンスを指導したことも有名であり、Michael JacksonのVIDEO（Beat it, Ghost,映画Captain EO）に出演した。1984年に日本で公開された映画「Breakin」に出演して日本にストリートダンスが広まるきっかけを作った重要人物でもある。2000年代に入ってからはChris Brownの大ヒットシングル曲「yeah 3×」のPVに出演の際に異例ともいえるソロパフォーマンスを披露した。GRAMMY AWARDS, Billboard Music Awards, TV LAND AWARDS等数多くの番組に出演。Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Mya, The Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, OMARION等、大物アーティストのツアーや振付指導に携わった。
今現在は、兄の「BOOGALOO SAM」が70年代にFRESNOで作り出したPOPPING＆BOOGALOOSTYLEを多くの人々に広めるため、世界を周り活躍し続けている。ダンス指導者、ダンス振付師として世界トップレベルのダンサーと言っても過言ではない。そんなこれからの彼の活躍に目が離せない。

Our 22nd guest is choreographer/dancer POPIN PETE from the legendary dance team, ELECTRIC BOOGALOOS. He became a legend in the dance industry for spreading POP dance to the world through SOUL TRAIN, an American music-dance television program. He is known for having directly taught Michael Jackson and having performed in his music videos, such as Beat it, Ghost, and the movie "Captain EO". He made an appearance in Breakin, a movie released in 1984 in Japan, that led street dance scene in Japan. In the 20s, he made a rare solo performance in a music video for Yeah 3×, the world's hit song by Chris Brown. He has performed for various music awards, such as GRAMMY AWARDS, Billboard Music Awards, TV LAND AWARDS, and so on. He has also been a part of many tours by world's famous artists, like Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Mya, The Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, and OMARION.
Now he has been traveling the world to spread POPPING＆BOOGALOOSTYLE, a dance style his brother BOOGALOO SAM created in the 70's. It is no exaggeration to say that he is one of the world's leading choreographers. The world can't wait to see what he does next!
