A memory in January
With a blink, January is almost over! Going through some files and pictures yesterday, I found a good memory photo of January 2014. Because of COVID-19, this year’s event was unfortunately cancelled but Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual event of New Year’s Kabuki. The local business owners and employees perform the Kabuki. I took a role of “Bentenkozo” in the play of “Shiranami Gonin Otoko”. Many friends and clients came to see my play! Michael Leon and Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong are my client couple who came to see my play. We are still close in touch each other many after the project! Such a great piece of memory!
1月の思い出
一瞬で、1月はもうすぐ終わります！昨日、いくつかのファイルと写真を調べていて、2014年1月の良い思い出の写真を見つけました。COVID-19のため、今年のイベントは残念ながらキャンセルされましたが、ホノルル日本商工会議所は毎年恒例の新年の歌舞伎のイベントを主催しています。地元の事業主や従業員が歌舞伎を披露します。 『白波五人男』の演目で「弁天小僧」役を演じさせていただきました。たくさんの友達やクライアントが私のプレイを見に来てくれました！ MichaelLeonとBarbara Fischlowitz-Leongは、私のプレイを見においで頂いたクライアントのカップルのお一組です。プロジェクト終了後も、いまだにお付き合いをさせていただいています！素晴らしい思い出！
