According to @aktivferien_com Nepal managing director, Mingmar Sherpa, the Corona crisis hits Nepal much harder than the earthquake of 2015. Since Nepal is heavily dependent on tourism, many locals currently have no income. To spread some hope for the future, @aktivferien_com has handed over new Mammut softshell and hardshell jackets to the local guides and will again offer trips to Nepal from April on in order to ensure their existence. Together with Dr. Ram Shrestha, who is responsible for health care throughout Eastern Nepal, they will develop a concept to keep everyone safe. Read more with the link in our bio (in German).
