First video is today’s second session, second video is my morning session.

I was moving like an injured sloth this morning & felt like hot garbage. I kept thinking about how much I’d rather be in bed & not beating my own ass trying to get through a really tough workout. I made MOST of my sets, just with additional funk & dramatics, but here’s a miss at a 95 set. I could have posted my nicer sets at 90 (since I had SO FUCKING MANY), but I’d rather show that I have SHIT days too. I cry about it, I complain about it, some days I can’t even get through them & that’s the reality of both life & elite training (or any training really).

Came home, reset & had a really solid second session without a single miss. A few hours of absolute dog shit does not mean your whole day is going to be or HAS TO be shit. You can turn it around & you can choose how you respond to things both in and out of your control. And that’s ALL you can really control.

If you got out of bed today, if you checked one small task off your list, if you acknowledged that you need to take today to address & tend to your mental health, amazing. Not every day is the greatest, most productive day and THATS OKAY.
