At Vita Coco we believe that when we invest in education, we can help empower our coconut farming communities. So in 2019, in partnership with our friends at @hopeinabottleph, we built two new classrooms and installed solar panels at COLOT IP School, to support the students that would travel 3-5 hours every week just to learn. Because of the new classrooms, enrollment increased by 220% and 40 families relocated their homes to build a community around the school. In COLOT, education literally powered a new village, and we’re so excited to see it continue to grow.

For every like on this post, we’ll donate $1 towards our new classroom fund (up to $10,000), which will go towards building a second facility that can double as a community center.  #InternationalDayOfEducation
