Did you know that the language you use actually shapes your perspective? Turns out, the way you speak, write and read ends up affecting how you view time, direction, colors, numbers, even logic! One cool example: Instead of using words like "left" and "right", one aboriginal group uses only cardinal (N-S-W-E) directions — yet they rarely get lost. "The beauty of linguistic diversity is that it reveals to us just how ingenious and how flexible the human mind is," says cognitive scientist @LeraBoroditsky.
