Why are we so base in our responsiveness? What comes from hate? What is actually achieved? This is not rhetorical. I genuinely want to know. Do we have a solution in mind? And the strategy we build to achieve that solution, is it constructed on building blocks of hate? Do we truly get what we want from hate? I noticed a lot of Left against Left last year. Hate within the same party because one side (of the left) was not hating the other side (the right) with enough hatred. I found this very curious to observe. Some of it was slung in my direction. I was not apologizing for my own skin color so somehow I didn’t support the color of another’s skin. Is evolution interesting to revolutionists? Can we not have both? I want growth. I want healing. I want unity. I am against what has been done by millennia of white skin superiority, but never will I own something as mine that doesn’t belong to me. I would never, have never, nor will I ever look at someone for the color of their skin. I digress. I am trying to understand. How does hate teach me that I’m wrong to feel as I do? Has hate ever taught you anything? Other than more hate? Does hate feel good when you feel or express it? Does your body feel all warm and fuzzy full of hate? I’m genuinely curious. I want to understand. How do we solve the issues we’re facing with hatred? Can someone walk me through the Hatred Steps of Life? It almost seems like I’m missing out over here with all my weird-ass compassion and love. Apparently the Hate Train is where it’s at. Solving the world’s problem one step of hate at a time. I ask these questions because I don’t hear anyone else asking them. We preach love, but is anyone interested in that?
