One way I’m going to defy the white supremacist terrorists that tried to overthrow this country under the guise of patriotism is to unrepentantly celebrate the historic achievement of @kamalaharris.

Amidst all of the coverage of these bigots and their insurrectionist handlers in the congressional Republican delegation, let’s not allow this important moment in the history of our country pass quietly.

The achievements of VP Harris, @staceyabrams and so many Black women & men and other men and women of color that hold and will be appointed to positions of authority and great responsibility give the lie more clearly to the pathetic, cowardly and failed tenets of that sniveling ideology than anything I could say.

There’s obviously so much more work to do in every aspect of American life, but let’s not look past the important and the beautiful moments.
