ボブ・サゲットさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ボブ・サゲットInstagram)「I just found out about the recent passing of the great director, Michael Apted, who I had the honor of knowing since 1986 when he cast me in the Richard Pryor film, “Critical Condition.” I stayed friendly with Michael over the years when this photo was taken his last year of serving as President of The Director’s Guild when I hosted an event for him. He was the kindest, smartest man, and my heart is sunken that he is gone. My deepest sympathies to his family and many friends. Michael Apted directed so many great films— “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” "Agatha," "Gorky Park," "Gorillas in the Mist," "Nell," and "The World is Not Enough," part of the James Bond series. His most famous documentary work was the amazing long-running "Up" series, where, over two decades he chronicled the lives of 14 people, every seven years, starting at seven years old, then 14, 21, and so on until his last doc of them, "63 Up” was completed.
