In many ways the whole point of a bag is to organise your things, and many of my favourite designs have come out of the need for a system to make my life work better. ‘Everything has a place and everything in its place’ is my mantra. Each pocket has a place for everything I need, pens, headphones, laptop, inbox, and the labels act as a prompt. For the same reason, I love the bathroom ‘filing cabinet’ washbag to organise all my bathroom products. Or ‘loose pockets’ which are essentially pockets that are not attached to the inside of your bag, so you can change your bag easily without having to empty all your pockets. This idea came out of the need to have different pockets for currencies and one for receipts, each embossed ‘Euros’, ‘Dollars’. ‘Yen’, ‘Receipts’.
