Then I thought about posting this earlier last year, and thought “I really don’t want to be too on the nose, or I don’t mean to be sensationalist”. (Especially when the west coast started having “Fire Season”.) And on Nov 7th, I naively thought “Maybe I will never post that book” for about 30 seconds but this title got more and more relevant (or less and less amusing) every year, every month, and every week. And I didn’t mean to post this as a first image of this new year, but at this point I feel like I have been jinxing it by holding off on it and it needed to be exorcised somehow by being released from my draft section after sitting there for all these years.
