Allow me to be sentimental today. We all go through grief differently. It can depend on how you process your emotions, and the kind of relationship you had with the individual. It doesn’t matter if it was with a person or if it was with a different species. Love is love.

The important thing is not to rush it and not to let others rush you. It has to be on your terms.

It’s been almost four years for me. Not as often, but I still wake up in the middle of the night, and get overwhelmed with how much I miss Jazzy. I sometimes sneak out of the bedroom so that I can watch old videos and cry as much as I want. (Crying can help release sadness)
To me, time helped...but I’ll admit, having BB and Phoebe really helped. 😌💝💜
