Watchmaking in the heart of nature

All Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made in the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi which looks out over Mt Iwate in northern part of Japan.

Through the studio’s high windows, the beauty of the mountain and its surroundings greets Grand Seiko’s craftsmen and women each and every day. They see the flowers in spring, the insects in summer, the leaves changing color in autumn and the sparkling crispness of winter.
