Kaino’s physicality, athleticism, speed, ball handling and defensive fortitude garnered much attention while playing with Auckland and the Blues. A key member of the All Blacks, Kaino helped lead his team to victory, lifting the Rugby Wold Cup on home soil in 2011 and then again in England in 2015.  In 2018, Kaino began playing for Stade Toulouse as captain, leading the team to victory in the 2019 Top 14 Final.
