Final morning vibe of 2020💫 When we wake up tomorrow it will be a new year, and the remnants of 2020 and our current circumstances might greet us there, but one thing is for sure.👇🏼⁣

A new year = new hope. A new opportunity to take the first step into God’s will for your life & ask for His guidance. “If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.” James 1:5-6 ⁣

Have you ever asked God to lead you but you doubted whether or not He even heard your prayer? We will never truly understand how God operates. It’s definetly not the same way that we do. I don’t know about you but this year I had questions for God like, “Where are you going to move us?”, “What the heck is going on in the world?”, “How long will this last”, “Is it gonna be okay having a baby in a pandemic?”...Those were a few of many questions roaming around in my prayers. I’ve seen first hand what God’s doing when He’s quiet in the midst of a storm. And it’s amazing what he can do when we finally come to a place of rest. It’s an open invitation for him to move. 2020 was a year of listening & learning. Embracing uncertainty & the beauty of being still. My father in law said it best: True faith is at rest. ⁣

Regardless of how your life looks today, how you’re ending 2020, or what you hope for in 2021, know that God’s promises are real and He is faithful. Jesus = hope. It only took me my entire life (as of 9 years ago) to discover that God isn’t a spectator who simply sits on the sidelines of our lives “hoping” for the best. Nope. He’s in the field with us and fighting our battles all while coaching us every step of the way. There’s no losing when God’s on your team. He will be in it with you and fighting whatever odds are against you.⁣

So cheers to a new year of not knowing but a new year of TRUSTING God. Love you fam 💛 #reflection
