Lou Reed “Walk On The Wild Side” live on Letterman. It was an honor to play this iconic song with Lou on the early Letterman show at NBC. Herbie Flowers playing bass on the original record, but he plays two parts-one on upright, one on electric. I really wanted to hear both, so I devised a 2-part trick to accommodate the contrary motion of the separate parts. Check out Lisa Fischer and Janice Pendarvis on backing vocals! #thisboyslife
