一年で最も昼が短く、夜が長い一日。

#一陽来復（いちようらいふく）という言葉があり、
冬至の日を「陰の極み」と捉え、明日から陽へ転じていくと考えられています。
世の中や生活が明るい方へ向かい、幸せであふれる一年となるよう、祈っていけられました。

千両は、つややかな緑の葉に、紅や黄色のつぶらな実が花のように映える美しい実物で、池坊ではお正月の花としてもよく用いられます。

かぼちゃを食べ、ゆず湯に入って、風邪予防をし、良い年を迎えましょう🤲

Herba sarcandrae (#herbasarcandrae)

Today is winter solstice (#wintersolstice).
The winter solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year.

In Japanese, there is an idiom called "Ichiyo-raifuku (一陽来復)".
The idiom means "winter is over and spring comes" or "favorable turn of fortune".
The day of winter solstice is the peak of winter.
From the day after winter solstice, the season will turn to spring gradually.
We wish that the world and our lives will become bright and the New Year will full of happiness. 

Herba sarcandrae is the plant with glossy green leaves and flower-like red or yellow berries.
Ikenobo usually uses it as the flower for New Year.

Let us eat pumpkins and enjoy yuzu bath (bathwater prepared with yuzu citrus fruits) to prevent a cold.
Wish everyone has a wonderful New Year.

冬至這天是「冬季的高峰」，冬至過後，季節便會漸漸朝著春天前進。
希望世界與我們的生活也能朝向光明，祈禱明年將會是幸福的一年。

千兩有光澤的綠葉和紅或黃色如花般的果實，池坊常用來插作正月的花。
