2020年12月12日(土)より、AMKKの個展「Paludarium Tachiko & Yasutoshi」を開催いたします。
「Paludarium」シリーズはAMKKの精神を濃く吹き込んだ作品のひとつです。植物を外気から守り成長を促進させるパルダリウム（温室）を新たに解釈したこの作品群は、本来のパルダリウムが由来する19世紀イギリス貴族の観賞用や娯楽として用いられたものとはまた異なる、現代が誇る文化やテクノロジーに沿った、そして一種の反立を含めた作品群となります。

これまでのAMKKのクリエイティブ思想とStandByの現実から切り離されたかのような空気が交わり、よりソリッドで奥行きを持ったインスタレーションとして完成した空間。貴重なこの機会に是非足をお運びください。

StandBy is pleased to present ‘Paludarium Tachiko & Yasutoshi’, a solo exhibition by AMKK, opening on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
‘Paludarium’ is a series of works that is deeply imbued with the spirit of the AMKK collective. The installation derives its name and design from the ‘Paludarium’; a structure that protects plants from the elements and promotes their growth, and the cultivation of which was a popular pastime amongst British aristocrats in the 19th Century. This installation provides a new interpretation of the Paludarium, bringing it up to date with contemporary culture and fusing it with modern technology and a sense of rebellion.
Playing with the tension between the atmosphere of StandBy’s uniquely surreal space and the creative ideas of AMKK; ‘Paludarium’ is a solid installation with great depth of meaning. We hope you take this opportunity to visit.
