There are two basic methods of spinning yarns :
- Worsted Spinning: the unique feature of worsted spinning is an extra process called ‘combing’, which makes the fibres even straighter producing an exceptionally smooth and strong yarn. Main use for Menswear fashion: Suiting.
- Woollen Spinning: this method is the same as Worsted Spinning, but the combing process is omitted, so the yarn is of less regular appearance. Main use for Menswear fashion: Jacketing.
