As we are about to leave Japan we would like to express our gratitude to the SoftBank Hawks organization for the past six seasons. 3 pacific league titles, 5 NPB championships and a record for most consecutive wins since my debut 14-0.
To be part of the Hawks dynasty has been a blessing.
Thank you to all my team mates, translators, coaching staff, trainers and strength trainers and front office for your support to me and my family. We deeply appreciate it.
Thank you to all the Hawks fans across Japan for your cheering and support over the past six season.
Special thanks to the city of Fukuoka and inhabitants for treating me and my wife as one of your own. It will hold a special place in our hearts especially since our son Ryan was born here!
Whether or not the next stop on our baseball journey is Japan, Korea or the USA I have plenty of baseball left inside of me and a burning desire to compete.
