There’s energy that flows through us- and out into our lives, and when we experience trauma it stops flowing outward and forward and is driven deep with. We develop survival mechanisms which are a form of genius— without thought or effort we inherently know how to preserve our Spirit with the unspoken hope that we will one day get ourselves to safe conditions where we can resume our Becoming. This is truly self-worth and self-love on the deepest level- our subconscious actioning the belief that we are viable. We also develop special insight, sensitivities, and abilities that we would not have come by if left undisturbed. As we begin to slowly learn to once again flow our energy out and forward back into the world beyond our trauma, we realize the truth: we have been Gifted. As we begin to create using these Gifts... a brand new world builds itself around us. Society has long told us we are worth less and should be ashamed.
