On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour the memory of those whose lives have been lost to acts of anti-transgender violence. At least 37 trans people have been killed this year in the US alone, and of these, most of the reported deaths are Black trans women. At M·A·C, we are proud to stand with the transgender community today and every day. Through #MACVIVAGLAM, we have donated over $1.3M to support programs focused on healthy futures and equal rights for transgender people. We also remain committed to trans community advocacy, which, in recent years, has included the development of Trans 102, a PSA series in collaboration with @refinery29, and the production of More Than T, a Showtime documentary, featuring our very own MAC Pro Artist, @carlisha_gizelle.
