Today winners and runners-up of the 2020 Queen’s Commonwealth Essay competition attended a virtual prize-giving for their written entries on the theme ‘Climate Action and Commonwealth’, and were joined by The Duchess of Cornwall, @dwalliams, @alexandraburke, @kareenakapoorkhan and @stephenfryactually. The 2020 competition was launched last year by The Duchess of Cornwall during a a writing workshop at Tūranga library in New Zealand (pictured here). The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition was founded in 1883 and is the world’s oldest international schools’ writing contest.
