Then a mountain god appears and suggests to him that he should not sleep around here because a demon in the deep mountains eats people. But Koremochi didn’t wake up, so the mountain god is fed up with him and disappears. Koremochi wakes up finally and goes into the deep mountains to reveal the true nature of Sarashina-hime.
