@outdooroutreach takes all the guesswork out of getting outside for youth, and covering prohibitive costs like gear and transportation is just the first step. With an instructor staff largely made up of program graduates, their young leaders inspire youth to challenge the unspoken narrative that outdoor spaces are not for “people like me” and to find their own personal meaning in the outdoors.​

For 10 years, we’ve worked to make exploration more accessible through our Explore Fund. Since 2010, we’ve partnered with Outdoor Outreach to connect youth to the transformative power of the outdoors. With exploration as their charge, more youth have access to opportunities that build inner resilience, groundedness and community.
