In reality their complexity might take by surprise – they can be reshaped, their elements can be worn, and they can even be inhabited by a person ✨ The current display of “Stellwerk” at @tate in London encourages the visitors to imagine the interactions with the artwork instead of actually performing any gestures. For Walther, there is no distinction between physical interaction or imagined action. Instead, he sees the body, the mind, and the object as all part of the artwork.
