No words or pictures can adequately describe the experience of visiting the Puebla’s of #Michoacan on #DiaDeLosMuertos and especially the #Offredas at the #Panteon at #Zintzuntzan - the smell of the marigolds covering the city, the sound of the brass bands playing nearby, the taste of the churros afterwards, the sight of grave after grave intricately built up and decorated commemorating passed loved ones by their attendant families that sit by candlelit vigil all night tonight and tomorrow - and mostly the feeling that the veil between living and dead was gossamer thin.
