This is the one time of year that we can decide on everyday issues like healthcare, education, housing, and global issues. This year has brought so much awareness to issues within our nation that many have failed to address. Throughout 2020 we have seen Black and Brown people disportionately killed by this pandemic and by law enforcement, an awareness of racism that needed to be addressed for years. 2020 has brought history making movements and were only halfway through, but we don't have to stop there. We know that change is possible because we have seen change in policies, Juneteenth recognized by many as a national holiday, and many calling for the defending or the police.For many generations people have struggled to win the right to vote and many countries are still fighting.
