アリ・アスターの手によるホラー映画 ？ ( ダークコメディ ？ ) “ ミッドサマー ” をBlu-rayでやっと観た。ある友人は「 観る必要無し。」と、またある友人は 「 大傑作 ！」と評価を二分している事も興味を持った理由。まずの感想は良い意味で “ 不快な映画 ” です。
舞台は北欧カルトの祝祭。個人の感情に異常なシンクロを見せる共同体の怖さは、まるで日本における同調圧力にも似て「 ゾッ〜 」とします。
細かいディテール、デザイン( アウトサイダーアートの巨匠／ヘンリー・ダーガーを思い出した！ ) そしてサウンドが高密度に組み上がっており、アリ・アスターが優れたディレクターである事がひしひしと伝わってきます。デザイナーであれば見ておいた方が良いと思いますが、めちゃくちゃ嫌な気分にもなりますのでご注意を！

I finally watched “Midsommar”, a horror movie( or dark comedy?) by Ari Aster. I wanted to watch it because my friend's comment on this movie was the opposite, one said "You don't need to watch it.", another said, "A masterpiece!".
My first impression was ” unpleasant movie” in a good way.
It is about a Nordic cult festival. The fear of the community, which shows anomalous synchronization with individual emotions, is similar to the comformly in Japan.
The fine details, design (remembering Henry Darger, the master of outsider art!), and the sound are densely assembled, and it is clear that Ari Aster is an excellent director. If you're a designer, you should watch it, but be aware that it can make you feel uncomfortable!
