We were on tour and still trying to figure out costumes when Satomi spotted some huge doll heads of tigers and lions. You might have seen her with hers when we shot Juan's Basement for @pitchfork. I went w a white tiger and painted some clothes in the hotel to finish it off. Here's some shots from the day! Packing up the minivan on our way, Satomi making a multicolored lion taming whip in the van, John wanted the lion head to look good so he debated playing the whole show backwards so you could see it (that idea was dropped, of course). I put mine on top of my head and played bending over looking at the floor the whole show to give that true feeling of a tiger playing guitar. WORTH IT.
