In preparation for our travels along the border, our @ambosproject team often looked to books as invaluable resources.

So many amazing thinkers/doers have observed the border through the lens of art, geography, identity, architecture, politics, nature, craft, environmentalism, design, and more. Their insights spurred deeper reflection and more intimate conversations not only within our AMBOS team but also with locals and fellow collaborators.

Look into these resources, and you’ll begin to see just a glimpse of how much there is to observe, reflect, and process in response to the US-Mexico border and all that comes with it.
